Graduate programme

We look for people with strong technical skills and an interest in one or more of these areas:

• software, systems, or network engineering
• computer science
• data science
• telecommunications
• network analysis
• cyber security.

Some years we also look for people with a liberal arts background for work in our intelligence area.

As a member of the programme, you’d learn and experience the wide range of work we do. Over 16 months you’d spend time working in different parts of GCSB on rotation.

We look for graduates with:

• a strong desire to keep New Zealand and New Zealanders safe
• strong critical and analytical skills
• a team-player attitude
• excellent communication skills – speaking and writing
• a commitment to integrity.
