A draft disposal schedule for the NZSIS, GCSB, and National Security Group of DPMC is open from 19th November 2018 for feedback.
A disposal schedule sets the disposal rules covering all information, records, and data that agencies create, access, and share to carry out normal business activities.
The Chief Archivist is responsible for approving the disposal of information, records, and data of public offices under Section 18 of the Public Records Act 2005.
The disposal schedule, once implemented, will ensure that agencies meet business, archival and legal requirements.
The GCSB, NZSIS and National Security Group of DPMC have developed a draft joint disposal schedule are are asking for feedback.
We are asking for public feedback on the disposal schedule to ensure that we have considered a range of views.
Feedback received will inform the update of the draft disposal schedule prior to it being submitted to the Chief Archivist for approval.

The draft disposal schedule is open for feedback from 19 November until 10 December 2018.
